Internal Quality Management System Auditor (AQAP 2310)

The course “Internal Quality Management System Auditor (AQAP 2310)” is designed to prepare professionals responsible for planning, organizing, and conducting internal audits of Quality Management Systems (QMS) within organizations operating in the aerospace, aviation, and defence industries.

The course is structured around a progressive learning approach, guiding participants from the fundamental requirements of QMS to specialized NATO requirements for the aerospace and defence sectors, as well as audit methodology. Participants study the standards in a logical sequence: ISO 9001 as the foundation of a QMS; AQAP 2110 as the specialized standard for defence industry organizations; AQAP 2310 and EN 9100 as advanced QMS requirements for aerospace, aviation, and defence organizations; and ISO 19011 as the international guideline for planning, conducting, documenting, and evaluating the effectiveness of management system audits.

Objectives

The objective of the course is to prepare internal auditors capable of professionally planning, conducting, documenting, and evaluating internal QMS audits in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001, AQAP 2110, AQAP 2310, EN 9100, and the guidelines of ISO 19011. The course also equips participants with the skills to formulate objective audit conclusions and provide recommendations for the continual improvement of the QMS.

Target Audience

The course is intended for personnel of defence industry enterprises, as well as organizations operating in the aerospace and aviation sectors, who are involved in conducting internal audits and in maintaining and improving QMS in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001, AQAP 2110, and AQAP 2310.

Document on completion

Upon successful completion of the course, participants are awarded a certificate conferring the qualification “Internal Auditor of Quality Management System”, listed in the SIC international register.

Thematic plan

The course has a total duration of 60 hours and consists of four training modules:

Module 1 — ISO 9001. Quality Management Systems.
Module 2 — AQAP 2110. NATO Quality Assurance Requirements for Design, Development and Production.
Module 3 — AQAP 2310. NATO Quality Assurance Requirements for Aviation, Space and Defence Suppliers (based on EN 9100).
