This online course provides the essential knowledge and practical skills needed to conduct internal audits of quality management systems in accordance with AQAP 2110:2016, AQAP 2131, and the guidance of ISO 19011:2018.
AQAP 2110:2016 is based on ISO 9001:2015 but includes extended requirements relevant to organizations in the defense industry. In particular, the course covers topics such as risk management, configuration management, traceability, reporting, and supplier control.
AQAP 2131 complements these with additional requirements related to final inspection and product testing.

Course objective
The objective of the “Internal Auditor AQAP 2110:2016 + AQAP 2131” course is to provide participants with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to plan, conduct, and document internal audits of quality management systems in accordance with the requirements of NATO standards AQAP 2110, AQAP 2131, ISO 19011, ISO 9001, and SIC internal procedures.
The main goals of the course include:
Understanding NATO AQAP requirements: Developing a deep understanding of AQAP 2110 and AQAP 2131, considering the specifics of the defense industry.
Mastering audit principles: Studying the structure and methodology of audits based on ISO 19011:2018.
Preparing and conducting audits: Gaining practical skills in planning, conducting, reporting, and following up on corrective actions resulting from internal audits.
Assessing compliance: Developing the ability to objectively evaluate the implementation of quality management systems in line with AQAP/ISO requirements.
Supporting continual improvement: Learning methods for identifying nonconformities and opportunities for process improvement within the QMS.
Impartiality and ethics: Ensuring adherence to the principles of objectivity, confidentiality, and independence in the audit process, in accordance with SIC rules.
