Objectives
This online course provides participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to implement, maintain, and continually improve an Environmental Management System (EMS) in accordance with the requirements of ISO 14001.
Participants will gain an understanding of the key elements of an EMS, including the organization’s environmental policy, identification and evaluation of environmental aspects, management of risks and opportunities, legal and regulatory requirements, process documentation, monitoring and measurement of environmental performance, management review, and continual improvement of the system.
Special attention is given to the role of the EMS Manager in the planning, implementation, and control of environmental programs, as well as in communication with internal and external interested parties.
